On Wednesday last week a bunch of employers had half days landed on them, by us, that is to say, us from The Scottish Enlightenment who do the singing, and Dan from Dan Lyth, who is mixing our songs for us, and helping us record vocals and cornet, and other noise we haven’t done yet. So we did a bunch of noise on Wednesday avo, Joe Mangle, and as a result we’ve got 3 tunes like actual proper finished. Dave and Karen did good, and I prowled around listening and stuff, and Dan bounced about recording and inspiring and energy sharing, and we got the job done in a couple of hours, then headed off to meet Angus and Mike and had a right proper evening of music making, running over new songs we’ve not recorded yet, exploring the sonic boundaries of the cornet, and larking.

The upshot is that i want to give one of these songs away soon. And my friend Clive has a nice idea for a wee video to go along with one of them, its called Little Sleep and its bombastic. You’ll see. So I’d like to do that. I’ve not told anyone else yet though. Arf! So what. I’ve told you.
