The Scottish Enlightenment
More gigs…
Hello yous,
Immediately, go listen to Lower Dens (the album Twin Hand Movement is on Spotify). They’re really good eh? We love ‘I Get Nervous’ and ‘Truss Me’. We all do (its a band edict). Now consider this: We, The Scottish Enlightenment, will be supporting them along with Edinburgh School For the Deaf at Edinburgh’s Sneaky Petes on the 27th March. Its going to be really good, and if you turn up at the door and say ‘hey, hello, we’re here at the behest of The Scottish Enlightenment’ you’ll be let in for a mere £5. And this band has come all the way from America. Thorough. Bargain. Sir.
That is our most pressing concern, but you should bear in mind that we are playing Dexters in Dundee on 7th April with the cracking Mitchell Museum, and then in Glasgow on April 9th at The Admiral with Miaoux Miaoux and Male Pattern Band.
You should also know we’re starting on our next record, which should be the fabled MOUNTAINEERING ALBUM, which may kill us. Follow our progress on Facebook (so far there is a preliminary tracklisting (not in order (not all correct titles))).
Sleep well,
The Scottish Enlightenment
