The Scottish Enlightenment

Nearly there…

If you’re still listening, thank you for your marathonesque patience.

The Scottish Enlightenment has nearly finished all recording for the new album. All that remains to be done is to return through the green door of the Green Door Studio to do some more overdubs, and then some mixing, and that’ll be it.Should be done by the end of June.

We hope that we’ll have tracks to give you sooner than that though. There’s a few that just need a tweak or two. As soon as that’s done, they’re yours.

Also, we’re on the gig trail again. Nothing is confirmed yet, but we’re prostrating ourselves daily before the industry gatekeepers in the hope of a little mercy. Ha! not. The gatekeepers are flat on their back in manure, and the music horse has totally bolted and pooped on their faces as it sped past. So as we canter freely over the hills of the new music making landscape, we will probably canter your way soon. You’d better come to the show, dont flake on us now.

Finally, a new website is almost ready to go. Just got to get some server jiggery pokery accomplished and thats it. Maybe we’ll do that tonight.
